On small books

I like to read nice small books. They are easier to read (to compare with big books), and one can save a lot of time. Most importantly, a small book can allow the author to write about any complicated issues. But precisely, of course. And small books can be no less influential than big ones. These are some significant small books: “Tao Te Ching” by Lao-Tzu, “One Minute Manager” by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, and “Elements of Style” by William Strunk and E.B.White.

  1. “Elements of Style” is also my favorite one. It helped me realize how small things can change the tone and style of writing.
